Treat Yo' Self! Thanks Donna! Don't mind if I do! So after 2 hours of watching and playing with my fur ball at a meetup: he running, rolling, chasing and catching balls like football players, I took him out bounds and into Peet's Coffee today. We are so lucky to have at least 3-4 coffee places nearby when we want some drinks and snacks. This particular Peets is located at a busy corner of Pac. Heights and near one of his favorite treat stores. The drinks are great and the staff friendly. Ambiance is your typical Peet's and a very busy store. Oh, I also got him a pupuccino, so he was excited. Located on Fillmore St. and Sacramento St. next door to Browser Books and across the street from a Salt & Straw (ice cream shop!) Also located near the 1 Bus Stop in case you want some caffeine after your muni ride.
The iced mocha came on the recommendation of an amazing barista named Brianna. This Pete's coffee is in the Fillmore District of San Francisco. Lots of action going on very full, but the service was quick.
Every time I come back here it's busier and busier. The staff is real nice to us old folks. Love it here. Feels like a local bar! Obsessed with the brownies and they made me a rose matcha latte (not on menu) so excellent.
No other coffee & tea company does so much to help farmers, reduce waste and provide support for the community! Today 12/24/23 Peet's is giving away a free cup of tea (bag tea only) or cup of coffee. They also collect coffee donations for the SF Fire Department. Good for the community and doing good!
Peet's makes a great cuppa Joe: Toasty with notes of cocoa, perfectly roasted beans. Bring on the espresso! I had an iced Americano while my friend had a caffe latte. Counter service was great but the rare indulgence of a morning bun was not: It was stale.
Pleasant experience despite the reviews as service was friendly and prompt. Wifi wouldn't connect for me but might have been due to security reasons as my friend connected perfectly fine. Still a solid spot to work either offline or with a hotspot, small but cozy. I had an iced Caramel Macchiato which was all I wanted and more. Little sweeter than usual and very tasty. I'd come here for a short work session, an hour or two, but opt for other spots for longer or more collaborative work.
Overall, a great stop. They have so many drinks and pastries to choose from. They have a wide variety and definitely something for everyone. The strawberry tea lemonade is sooo good. I like it better than Starbucks! The service is fast and the people are sweet. It's a great place to work, very chill coffee shop vibes.
